Cindy Pavlinac is a fine art photographer, author, musician, labyrinth walker and archeoastronomer.
My work focuses on the power of place, respectful exploration, travel to sites of ancient wisdom and deep time. From prehistoric stone circles, indigenous rock art, cathedral labyrinths, and elemental landscapes, I slip between worlds to create contemplative images of beauty, mystery, sovereignty, and extraordinary presence.
An exhibiting artist with hundreds of shows and awards, including the de Young Museum Open, I have presented at events from Grace Cathedral in San Francisco to Iona and Oxford University in England. I have a MA in Arts & Consciousness Studies, a MFA in Creative Writing and Narrative Medicine, am a certified Labyrinth Facilitator, Integrated Learning Specialist, and adjunct Assistant Professor in Visual Studies at Dominican University of California. I am a founding studio artist at Arts Works Downtown in San Rafael, California where I have an ever changing gallery and plot new journeys of transformation through intentional exploration. Visitors welcome.
We are called to the journey and by wandering, we find our way home.
